Module 1: Social Psychology & Evolutionary Change
So you learned how to design a kanban system in KSD class; You got familiar with how to scale and improve kanban systems across the organization continuously at KSI class; You also learned how to navigate through organizational maturity with a controlled evolutionary model at the KMM class. At KCP class, you will learn how to lead change in the most humane way.
In Module 1 of KCP class, we'll do a deep dive into the social psychology and dramatic social change and the effect of change on individuals, whether they are the citizens of a country or the members of a sports club, or the employees of a company. We will do this deep dive through three perspectives: neuroscience, social psychology, and philosophy. We will also dive deeper into evolutionary change and discuss its risks and possible counter-measure strategies that we can employ during the controlled evolutionary change. This is a crucial module; it builds the foundation for the rest of the course. Like everything else with the Kanban method, You will also receive practical and actionable guidance.
Module 2: Culture drives practice adoption & Business outcome
At KMM class, you learned that values drive culture, culture drives practice adoption, and outcomes follow practices. At KCP Module 2, you will learn how to influence culture using concepts such as social cohesion, social capital, social entropy, deficiencies of needs, values and decision filters, social innovation. And we will continue with controlled evolutionary change risks and counter-measures with a focus on behaviors and culture. By the end of this module, you will have practical guidance on assessing social context and tools to influence group and individual behavior.
Module 3: The Kanban Coaching Guidance and Philosophy
From the first class, KTP or KSD, you learned various coaching guidance. Such as STATIK (system thinking approach to introduce and implement kanban system), Kanban Litmus Test, Kanban Maturity Model (KMM), and more. In this module, we will unpack these coaching tools, as well as Kanban principles and practices. By the end of this module, you will have comprehensive guidance on causing and leading change in the most humane way.
Module 4: Contextual Assessment and Coaching Engagement Strategy
It is time to put what you've learned so far at KCP class (and everything else you learned from KSD, KSI, and KMM classes) together and design strategies and approaches for making a difference with the Kanban method. This module will guide you in designing a coaching engagement strategy and agenda for change with your internal or external customers based on your role and the context you are operating in. Your role and your sphere of political influence within the organization define what you can do with the Kanban method and how you can make a difference. This module teaches you that.
Therefore, The Contextual Assessment and Engagement Strategy module is not only for Coaches or Consultants. Its guidance is appropriate for managers, individual team members, team leads, project managers, product managers, and even customers of small to large organizations. They all have a role to play and responsibilities to take.
Module 5: Reflection on the coaching practices, and next learning journey
Who you are as a Kanban Coaching Professional, what possible next steps are in your learning journey, and how you can continue making a difference with the Kanban method is the topic of this module.
